Cairn is a documentation tool. It takes a description of an incident or a task that you supply, and produces a structured draft — an incident report or a risk assessment — that names the Western Australian work health and safety instruments the described duties sit under.
Cairn cites regulations only from a fixed, verified reference table maintained by the operator. It does not construct, infer or recall section numbers outside that table. Where a specific provision has not been verified, the document names the instrument and says the provision is unverified rather than guessing.
Cairn produces draft documentation. Every output must be reviewed, amended where necessary and approved by a competent person before it is used, relied on or submitted. Cairn is not a certifying body, does not replace a qualified safety professional, and does not guarantee the outcome of any WorkSafe Mines Safety or DMIRS assessment.
Cairn is a documentation tool, not a certification body. It is not affiliated with WorkSafe Mines Safety, DMIRS or any Western Australian government agency. Every document it produces is a draft and must be reviewed and approved by a competent person before use. Cairn does not guarantee the outcome of any audit, inspection or regulatory assessment.
You must not use a Cairn draft as a final compliance document without that review. Doing so is a breach of these terms and, more importantly, leaves you holding an unapproved document.
By using Cairn you accept that:
Cairn is billed monthly in Australian dollars through Stripe. The plans are Solo / Small team at $79 per month for up to 10 workers, and Fleet at $249 per month for up to 30 workers.
New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is collected at sign-up and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Early customers on the Solo / Small team plan pay the pilot rate of $39 per month for the first 3 months, after which the standard rate applies.
Prices are the amounts shown on the pricing page and charged by Stripe. We will give existing customers notice by email before any price change takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings, which is Stripe's own hosted portal. There is no notice period and no retention call.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund part-months, and we do not delete anything you have created when you cancel — your documents remain readable, and you can export them.
Cairn is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and document generation depends on a third-party API that can be slow or unavailable.
If drafting is unavailable, your existing documents remain readable and exportable.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our liability arising from your use of Cairn is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for any regulatory penalty, enforcement action, audit outcome or loss arising from a document that was used without the competent-person review these terms require.
How we collect, store, process and delete your data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We will email existing customers before any material change to these terms takes effect.
